Sam Edla

Vice President of Technology

Sam Edla joined Learning Ally in October 2020 to serve as the organization's VP of Technology and CISO. In this capacity, he is responsible for the overall digital transformation strategy that enables the delivery of integrated platform solutions to the internal organization, educators, administrators, and learners. He also oversees the security strategy and governance for the organization to ensure the protection of the company's digital assets.

Prior to joining Learning Ally, Sam spent over 15 years in the education technology space serving as the CTO and VP of Technology at Manhattan Prep and Kaplan Test Prep. He served on the executive team and lead the efforts to grow Manhattan Prep from a startup to becoming the largest GMAT prep provider in the world over the course of 5 years. After being acquired by Kaplan Test Prep, he oversaw the platform integrations between the organizations, enabling a seamless transition.
