Thankful Hearts, Meaningful Stories

Throughout November, we’re embracing a spirit of gratitude and reflection as we celebrate the moments that remind us what matters most. It’s a time to pause, appreciate, and find joy in the connections that shape our lives—both in and beyond the classroom. This month, we’re highlighting three heartening audiobooks that celebrate kindness, family, and the power of gratitude.

Turn Knowledge Into Practice

Empower your literacy instruction with Structured Literacy in Action, a virtual learning experience that transforms the science of reading into classroom practice. This no-cost professional learning opportunity is open to all educators thanks to the partnership between Learning Ally and the Dollar General Literacy Foundation. Participants will engage in ten live virtual sessions designed to translate the science of reading into daily instructional practice.

Empowering Students Like Carly to Shine

We celebrate students like Carly, whose determination and love of learning remind us why access matters! After facing major medical challenges and struggling with reading speed and fatigue, Carly found Learning Ally. With the support of audiobooks, she kept pace with her classes, regained confidence, and turned her dream of attending college into a reality.

From the Classroom

“I love that kids who struggled to make it through a book are devouring entire series! My own child has started reading more on his own with Learning Ally because he can really get into the book quicker. It also helps in busy classrooms because he can put in his headphones and read without becoming distracted by others. We all love it!”
